The best time to book a maternity session is between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy. At this time in your pregnancy, your belly will be nice and round and you will still have a good amount of energy to do a photo shoot. At our studio we supply a wardrobe of maternity dresses and tutus for you to use during your session. Daddies and siblings are invited to participate in these sessions as well.
The best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are between 5-16 days of age from their date of birth, after two weeks babies are a little harder to settle and things like colic and baby acne can start to flare up. You can contact us at any time during your pregnancy to give us an estimated due date, we will then make a tentative booking and when you arrive home from hospital with your brand new baby you can contact us to arrange a suitable time and day for your session if your actual delivery date is different from your estimated one.
There are many other milestones to capture in baby’s first year. Based on our experience some fantastic milestones to capture are at:
~ 3/4 Months – first smiles/ holding up their heads
~6/7 Months – very smiley/ sitting up on their own
~1 Year – first birthday portraits/ cake smash (best done 3-4 weeks in advance if you would like the images for their birthday party)
Your newborn session will take place in our studio in Vaudreuil, Quebec. All other sessions can be held either in studio, outdoors or in the comfort of your home using the natural environment of your house.
Newborn sessions can take 3-4 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding and comforting. Other sessions can take between 30-60 minutes, depending on the session type selected.
Approximately 1-2 weeks after your session, we will email you with a gallery link and password for your private online viewing gallery. The online gallery will remain active for a certain amount of time stated in your email. You can, from here select the images you would like to order and have edited. The post-processing takes approximately 2-3 weeks from the day of your image selection, at which point another link will be sent to you to download your high resolution images. Prints, albums, canvases and other print products will be available for purchase if desired. All images will be stored and archived after 60 days and kept for 1 year. Once the gallery has been closed there will be a $25 fee to upload your gallery for an additional 7 days.

All images are copyrighted by Love You Forever Photography, even those you purchase. Copying, scanning or reproducing images is strictly prohibited. Print-screening images from this website or from your proofing gallery is also against the law. Prices are subject to change without notice and are non-negotiable.
